I was chatting with Michael Ricco the other day about the most interesting experiences when at Petrie Island. I have many photos that are keepers but the one event that I experienced was a “Beaver Battle”.
Several beavers were fighting right beside my boat. Biting and clawing each other. It was not during the mating season so I assume it was a territory battle as they came from opposite sides of the channel. There were 8 beavers in total, some were outside of the camera view.
