With lots of rain in the forecast, I decided to fit in a short paddle at Petrie Island. Right away, I came across another paddler coming in as I was heading out. I was pleased to meet Jennifer Anderson and we had a nice chat. In advance of this weekend’s “Petrie Cleanup Day” she did a very good deed as she collected some of the trash from the waterways at Petrie.
The water level is still high so navigation is easy. The water measured 11 deg C ( and 14 deg C in the shallows ). Safe paddling everyone.
